Meet Stacy and Ben, the sweet tooths behind Cereal Killer Cookies!
Stacy has always loved desserts, specifically cookies, ice cream,
and donuts. She's a sucker for a new treat or seasonal flavor. She really picked up baking in 2020, delivering tasty creations to friends and family when everything was closed – there's nothing like the joy a homemade baked good brings!
Ben, on the other hand, didn't really let sweets into his life…enter Stacy! She naturally suggested a dessert spot for their first date. Maybe this laid the foundation for what was to come?! From then on, Ben gradually latched on to Stacy's sugar hobby; who could resist?!
Growing up, cereal was a specialty item in both their families. As an adult, Stacy appreciated cereal as a treat, and early in their relationship, she introduced Ben to cereal as dessert (with the occasional ice cream or cookie compliment).
One evening, they were enjoying exactly that, cereal and cookies, when Ben said, "We should start a cookie company and call it Cereal Killer Cookies." Stacy laughed, thinking that it was a cute idea but not thinking he was serious. A few weeks later, Ben said it again, and this time, she said, "Okay," and here we are!
Stacy and Ben embraced the challenge of something new, especially the B&E (Bake and Eat) process, with the support of friends and family. They are excited to bring together their passion for cereal and sweets on their mission to share their deliciously nostalgic cookie creations with the world!
As a child, Stacy's favorite cereal was Cinnamon Toast Crunch; she loved the cinnamon milk at the bottom of the bowl – basically a dessert! Ben's was Lucky Charms; he's a big marshmallow guy! It's no surprise that each cereal now makes their favorite cookies – Cinnamon Toast Crunch Toffee (Stacy is a firm believer that chocolate is always a good idea) and Lucky Charms Marshmallow.
Stacy and Ben hope to evoke fond childhood memories with each moist and crunchy Cereal Killer Cookie bite. It's been amazing starting a small business, and they hope your taste buds enjoy the results of all their hard work!
